I want to copy 1 column let's say column A from sheet 2 (which has 900 data(data count varies) to column A in sheet 1 starting in A3(for sample).

Sample(Sheet 2)

AB
orangeorange
coconutgreen

<tbody>
</tbody>

Copy column A from sheet 2 (above) to this sheet (sheet 1) starting in A3

A
orange
coconut

<tbody>
</tbody>

I need a sampl macro which can do that. Sometimes Sheet2 data may have at least a thousand data which needed to be copied frm sheet 2 to sheet 1 startiing in A3.
Sorry but I'm stll new to VBA and this is just a part of my studying habit in VBA :D

Thanks for helping

Sub Macro1()

Sheets("Sheet2").Select
Range("A1:A10000").Select
Selection.Copy
Sheets("Sheet1").Select
Range("A3").Select
ActiveSheet.Paste
End Sub

This would work.

Code:
Worksheets("Sheet2").UsedRange.Columns("A").Copy Destination:=Worksheets("Sheet1").Range("A3")
