Hi,
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p> </o:p>
I need a code to do the following:
<o:p> </o:p>
The cell value on worksheet (RFQ_Mani!$E$1) changes constantly by a formula calculated
<o:p> </o:p>
Based on range of sequential rows selected I need a code that would copy and insert these rows based on the value noted in cell RFQ_Mani!$E$1.
<o:p> </o:p>
So as an example:
If the cell value in RFQ_Mani!$E$1 = 3
<o:p> </o:p>
And the selected rows were row # 379,380, 381& 382, on running the code, I would want rows (383, 384, 385 and 386) and rows (387, 388, 389 and 390) populated with the content of rows (379,380, 381& 382) and its content displayed in the same sequence.
<o:p> </o:p>
Thus depending on the value in cell address RFQ_Mani!$E$1, I need a range of rows to be copied and inserted.
<o:p> </o:p>
Much appreciate your help.
<o:p> </o:p>
Thanks,
Chrisham

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
Mala,
thanks for responding, I am sure you have it all covered in that links you provided me below, but after raking my head on it, I am still unable to get it working.
I am pretty much a novice in this VBA programming bit, but I amazed with the stuff that can be done with this tool.
Appreciate if you could be more explicit in providing me a solution here.
