Data disappearing from tables, but can recover using filters

Hello, I'm a long time lurker, first time poster.

I've come across something I can't figure out.

I have a table of data, about 7100 rows long, containing data from 30 sampling points that are sampled daily. The table is populated using a macro that appends data from another table. The macro appears to be working correctly as far as I can tell.

The issue is that when scrolling through the table, sometimes some sampling dates are not visible. After fussing with the filters, they reappear again. Here's an example. If I'm looking at the table, unfiltered, I won't be able to see data from March 30, 2017. If I filter for Location A, and then clear the filter, suddenly this data is visible. The messing with the filter doesn't work every time, I've yet to figure out any rhyme/reason/pattern to what makes the data disappear or reappear. Using formulas also omits the "disappeared" data.

Here is what I've tried that did not resolve the issue:

Hidden Rows: I've looked for hidden rows, and selected unhide.
Restarting excel, restarting computer
Removing the filter, putting it back again, repeat in frustration
Converting the table to a range and vice versa
Disabling macros

I'm thinking it could be would be a version compatibility issue. I made the spreadsheet in Excel 2010, my colleague is using Excel 2013, and now I am using Excel 2016. I used the compatibility checker in Excel and it doesn't flag anything that could be causing this issue.

Has anybody else had this issue? I haven't found anything online.

Thanks so much!
