I have this cell that I am creating a drop down list. The list contains two numbers that are cells on another tab. When I select the two different cells and separate them with a comma, it says there is an error and we cant use reference arrays. (P.S The two cells that are numbers are a total sum of other cells).

Anyway to fix this?

Thanks,

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Are the cells adjacent, say in A1 and A2? If so, just use this formula:

=Sheet2!A1:A2

If they're not, say A1 and D3, then find a 2-cell range somewhere like Z1:Z2, and put

Z1: =A1
Z2: =D3

in those cells, then use =Sheet2!Z1:Z2 as your DV list formula.

Hello,

Thanks for the reply. They are not adjacent. It is B19 and D19
