Good afternoon,

Hope you are doing well today. I have Excel 2010 with a sheet with over 250k rows. Each row has a column letting me know whether a part was "Good" or "Reject". I want to delete all rows with "Reject" in a very fast manner. How can I accomplish this?

Thanks, have a great day.

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Sort the Good/Reject column, delete the rows at the bottom.

Thank you, that is what I was looking for.

Just to confirm, I highlighted that column with "good" or "reject", then hit "Sort & Filter", then "Sort A to Z", then "Expand to selection" in order to maintain all the other columns and rows, correct?

Thanks,

Another way: Use autofilter to filter for "Reject". Select those rows and delete.
