Hi,

I want to create a macro that runs, to narrow down the drop down list after selection

This is the scenerio.

I have created a drop down list on 4 cells, source is1,2,3,4

I have 4 cells to input either one of the number. 1,2,3 or 4.

I may select any of the number as the first number, say 3 on cell number 2.
Since 3 is selected, a new drop down list on cell 1, 3 and 4 should appear the number 1,2 and 4 only.
Number 3 should not appear as it had been selected.

So if we select number 1 in cell 4, then the rest of the two cell's drop down list should left with number 2 and 4 and so on until the last cell with the remaining number.

I would like to see the disappearing number disappear or it may turn grey that cannot be selected anymore.

Is this possible with Excel? ;)

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Hi Andrew, Thank you for your reply. This is exactly what I am looking for. However, the formula is too complicated for me and I wish there would be a Video on youtube to guide me. ;) ;)
