duplicated rows formula

Hi
I want to highlight duplicated rows. Thanks for your help, I know the formula now but I have had hard time to interpret it.

Conditional Formatting --> Formula

=countif($A$2,$A$200,A2)>1

what exactly this formula is doing? thank you so much

It's counting how many times each cell appears in the range. Those with a count of 2 or greater will be formatted.

if its one particular value you could use conditional format to highlight duplicates. One rows, you might want to concatenate several values together and then CF that
