Using vba can I code so that it will find theearliest date and the latest date in a column and then return this to a cell as the text 'dd/mm/yy to dd/mm/yy'.

Guess this is available but until now I have done this manually after a macro some one else wrote has finished and they have left so can't help.

Thank you in adavance.

Hi and welcome

I don't think you need a macro for that

=TEXT(MIN(A:A), "dd/mm/yy")&" to "&TEXT(MAX(A:A), "dd/mm/yy")

Would do the job and save you having to run a macro everytime you updated the sheet
