I am not sure if anyone else has experienced this before but for some reason when I am in some of my spreadsheets, the background colors for the cells have changed. In fact the entire color selections are slightly different from what is normal. Then if I close out all sheets I have opened and reopen them in excel they are back to normal. Any ideas on what causes this?

Thanks,
Jared

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
I know this is an old post but I found this to work.

1. Close all instances of Excel
2. Launch Excel and disable the "Borders" toolbar.
3. Open up the spreadsheet(s).

Hope it helps,

GRC

Hi GRC,
Thank you for input.

I tried your suggestion with Excel 2003 and Excel 2007 but it does not work.
Could you please download for testing the example Wrong_Palette.zip of the workbook created by Account System with wrong color palette.

Screenshot of correct palette is in the Sheet1.
The instruction:
1. Do right click on cell
2. Choose "Format cells"
3. Select "Fill" tab to see wrong color palette
