Excel 2007 Data Filter

Hi Guys,

I have a large excel file which is similar to the following: -

Jim 0
Jim 1
Jim 2
Jim 3
Jim 4
Jim 5
Bob 0
Bob 1
Bob 2
Bob 3
Bob 4
Bob 5
Bob 6
Bob 7

I need a way to filter the above list to only show the top x values. For example if I needed the top 3 the list above would be filtered to look like: -

Jim 3
Jim 4
Jim 5
Bob 5
Bob 6
Bob 7

The excel sheet contains over 500,00 lines and the numbers range from 0-217. Is there any formulas/filter ranges/macros that could do this?

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
