Excel 2010 - setting up automatic recalculation

In Excel 2010 a default safeguard is in place that sets all Excel files received by e-mail to manual recalculation instead of automatic recalculation. I know how to change each sheet manually (File, Options, Formulas, Automatic Calculation) but is there a way to remove this safety feature?

This is extraordinarily annoying.

Thanks for your help.
