Hey everyone! I'm working on a project for work that has data ranging from 3-400. My supervisor wanted me to create a line graph but I needed some pointers since the data has huge gaps. I set the data to go in increments of 10 and cap at 100 (since there are only two points that extend beyond 100 - 250 &400), but how do I add a data label to the data that is out of bounds? I'm not able to see any option for that.

Thanks for your help!

Hi, welcome to the board.

There isn't really an option to do that directly.

Some possible options
1) Manually add a text box which explains what you're doing
2) Incorporate some text into the chart title, or some other piece of chart text, to that effect. For example, instead of calling your chart "2012 data" or whatever, call it "2012 data (items <100)" or something similar. The "items <100" bit can be formatted into a smaller font if you like.
3) Don't exclude your data - show it all. If that makes your chart look strange, consider using a logarithmic scale for the relevant axis.
