Hello,

I have a worksheet, and all the cells contain data.
When I want to sort a colum alphabetically, normally excel asks if I want to expand the selection (and I want it to be expanded).

But in this particular worksheet it doesn't give me the option.
I just sorts the first colum, and the rest of the colums don't change.

Does anybody have an idea why?

Bye

Excel Facts

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
hard to say without seeing your worksheet.
but you can access the Sort Menu itself by selecting Data>Sort from the menu bar or Ribbon.

Hello, thanks for the suggestion.
I kinda solved the problem by copy pasting everything (exept the headers) in a new worksheet, and then adding new headers.

No idea why that worked.
