I am trying to create a chart in Excel 2003. What I want to do is track my performance over a year in %. In the chart I would like to see color ranges that show which category I am in. From 0-85% should be red. From 86-92% should be yellow. From 93-100% should be green. Any ideas on how I can make the background of my chart these colors at these values? I'm not sure I explained myself well.

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
Yes, I would like to fill the area below 85 red, between 85 and 92 yellow, and above 92 to 100 green.

Something like this:

No, what I am trying to do is track our company's score. We get rated (%) by one of our customers each month. Depending on the score, it puts us in one of 3 categories. Red, Yellow or Green. Any score below 85% is Red. 86-92% is Yellow, and higher than 92% is Green. I would like to see over the coarse of the year how our score rises and dips through these 3 ranges.

Is there some way to attach the spreadsheet to this post so you could have a look at it?

This board doesn't accept files and charts won't appear on the screen attachment (you'd have to save it to a file host but then the source data can't be copied off the screen directly). I'll send you my email.
