Hi All - I have a data table that contains the sales reps and corresponding managers in our organization. I am looking to create a macro that would look at the manager name in one column and create an individual workbook for that manager to review. In total, there are about 500 reps and 63 managers, so I would prefer to avoid the manual nature of creating 63 unique files (if i can avoid it).

Any guidance that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Start by recording the following code:
Filter your data table for the first manager (I'd recommend sorting by Manager name if the table isn't already sorted)
Add a new sheet, name it
Copy the filtered visible cells (with header) to the new sheet

This will give you a start and then you can create a loop for the actions of:
Filter next manager name,
Add new sheet and re-name
Copy data actions

Post your code back if you need help with the loop part

Does it change if I don't want a new sheet, but instead want a new workbook?
