This is my formula

<tbody>
</tbody>
=SUMPRODUCT(--('Trust Fund'!I:I="Q1Y18")*('Trust Fund'!$F:$F="Summary"),'Trust Fund'!$M:$M)

I get the "Excel ran out of resources while attempting to calculate one or more formulas. As a result, these formulas cannot be evaluated."

I:I is a drop down, but some cells are empty.
F:F has only the word "Summary" in the cells in the rows that need to be added
M:M has a formula for adding various parts of the colum

I could also make it say =SUMPRODUCT(--('Trust Fund'!I:I="Q1Y18")*('Trust Fund'!$F:$F="CP"),'Trust Fund'!$M:$M)

Now M:M has only numbers and no formulas but I get the same message.

Suggestions?

Welcome to the MrExcel board!

Try restricting the row ranges - I'm sure you are unlikely to be using anything like 1,000,000+ rows.
So something like this

=SUMPRODUCT(--('Trust Fund'!I1:I1000="Q1Y18")*('Trust Fund'!$F1:$F1000="Summary"),'Trust Fund'!$M1:$M1000)
