I have a worksheet with a table that contains 7 date columns. All of the columns are formatted as Date like this:

When I create a PivotTable I'm only able to select four of the columns as Timeline and I have no idea why I can't select the last three. I have tried to reproduce the error with another data set but I can't do that. When I use dummy data I'm able to use all columns as Timeline Slicers.

I thought that Excel might not be able to handle blank cells when using the Timeline slicer but that doesn't seem to be the case. Is there anything I can do for Excel to recognice the columns as date columns?
