Hi Guys,
I currently have office 2000 on my work laptop. Work have now been given licences for office 2007. I got my hands on a copy to install on the laptop. Office 2007 has the option of leaving previous versions of office installed so that you can run them together.
So I know have office 2000 & 2007 on my machine. here is the problem:

1) when I try and open up excel 2000, it opens up but then throws me out. if I double click on the excel 2000 icon its ok - any suggestions?

2) when I try to open up an excel file (which defaults to 2007) the file doesnt open, however if I minimise excel, excel restores itself and opens the file - any suggestions?

any help is greatly appreciated as you can imagine how frustrating this is for me

regards
Samuel
