Please help me build a formula for extracting the number from text below:

IHB_PO :U100/0000102029/2017 I just need to extract 102029 from above. Regards Sunil

If you beginning is always shaped the same (6 characters, as space, a colon and a three digit number, then this should work...

=0+MID(A1,14,10)

otherwise this should work...

=0+MID(A1,LEN(A1)-14,10)
