filling formulas in a column

i am trying to fill a column with this formula which is in the first cell of the column (H6), =G6/G36.

when i try to fill down, both cell references increase by one, =G6/G36, =G7/G37, =G8/G38, etc.

i want the first cell reference (G6) to increase by one cell (G7, G8, G9, etc.) and the second cell reference to remain as G36.

i need to do this for 4 columns of 40 rows and i really don't want to edit the formulas manually.

any clue how i can do this?

radley - easy peasy mate.

just insert a $ symbol to anchor that pasrt of the formula.

so (H6) =G6/G$36
