I need help finding the next highest values for one month.
I used the Dmax function to return the highest value but I still need to extract at least the 5 next ones.

Any idea? Thx.

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
Check out Excel's LARGE() function.

If your month values are in A1:A31, then =LARGE(A1:A31,5) will return the 5th largest value.

hi Ezio

If there is a lot of data, options other than formulas and VBA include pivot tables (can do TOP 5) and query tables. With VBA there are further options.

How much data might you have? How many categories?
