I am using the following formula in a spreadsheet to autofill cells with data from another sheet and it works.

=INDEX(Table15[Global ID],MATCH([@Name],Table15[Name],0))

I am using the same formula in another workbook and I keep getting a syntax error.

=INDEX(Table15[SAP DESCRIPTION],MATCH([@SAP #],Table19[SAP DESCRIPTION],0))

Why is the new formula not working?

Sorry, copied the wrong formula from a previous post. Based on your screenshot, both table references are to Table19.
[...]
=INDEX(Table19[SAP DESCRIPTION],MATCH([@[SAP '#]],Table19[SAP '#],0))
[...]

Excel Facts

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
