Google Sheets macros

G'day all, I see that Google now has it's own macro functionality using a non-VBA language. I'm thinking of exploring it's potential, importing a macro etc., does anyone have any thoughts or experience on this yet? My macros all use features like dictionaries & arrays, will Google Sheets be able to handle this or am I wasting my time? Client requirements include being able to share access to the file at anytime so I'm interested in the current potential of Sheets
