Here is a text string question???

I have a text strings in Coumn A that have a variable name length. The names are seperated by a comma and the the 1st hyphen. I need to extract the first and lst names before the first hyphen. Ideas??

A1
Fitzgerald, Tom-L2,SRT(MSP) - out 5:00

A2
Smith, Steven-L3,OBT(OSP) - out 3:10

Do you need to extract the first and last names, both ending up in a single cell? Or do you need the first name in one cell and the last name in an adjacent cell?

I needed the combined, but the I would like to see your idea for Last name in one cell and in adjacent cell the First name. If you wouldnt mind....
