highlighting rows/col's

does anyone know how to highlight rows and columns without using a mouse? ie. i want to highlight entire rows 1-10 without touching my mouse. Thank you.
 

Excel Facts

Easy bullets in Excel
If you have a numeric keypad, press Alt+7 on numeric keypad to type a bullet in Excel.
You could type 1:10 in the Name box, but I'm not sure whether you can access that without a mouse.

You could also try Edit>Goto... and again type 1:10 in the Reference box.

You can use ALT+E, G to get to that.:)
