Just curious, I didn't notice anything in my hotkey list for this: if I have, say, A1:G1 selected, is there a simple hotkey to move the selection down to A2:G2, or in another direction, while preserving the cell count & form?

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Try Alt+Shift click on the selected cells border and move where you want
