Hi,

Thanks to anyone in advance who can help me with this.

I have a looping Powerpoint presentation on display on a large screen in front of some call centre staff. It displays a number of slides showing various bits of information and with a ticker (crawling) tape style message that is on the Slide Master and present across all slides.

I want to use a very basic Excel spreadsheet to put the articles on then update the Powerpoint presentation - which i already understand how to do via Paste Special and embed. That part works as it should.

Once the text or data is imported into PP, i cannot change the font etc or apply any effects and the imported text shows a cell box around it which i cannot seem to get rid of. Is there something i'm missing or an add-in available that allows to to format the data in Powerpoint? As things stand, i have to apply the text formatting (change of font etc) to the Excel spreadsheet for it to appear they way i'd like in PP.

I was hoping i could set up the visual parameters in PP and have it extract the raw text from Excel and display it as i intended it.

I am using Powerpoint 2007.

Cheers for your advice.
