How to Assign a Reoccurring Number Sequence Based on Cell Value

I am in need of assigning a re-occurring number sequence to a large data set, based on cell value.

A small sample of the data set shows below, in column A:

I need to generate a re-occurring number sequence in column B, like showing below:

So in column A, for every entry of AX1002, the number sequence starts at 100, and counts up, until a new value appears in column A, i.e. AX1003, which causes the number sequence to reset to begin again at 100 and count up until another new value appears in column A, i.e. AX1019, causing it again to reset at 100... and so on.

There are 1,363 rows in total on the worksheet.

Excel Formula:
=99+COUNTIFS(A$2:A2,A2)
