I would like to omit some cells (a single column, as it happens) from automatic calculation, but I don't want to switch the entire worksheet/workbook to manual calculation ("F9").

The reason for this is that the column in question contains some fuzzy matching formulas which can take a long time to complete. I'm happy to do this manually at the end of an editing session, whereas the rest of the calculations should update as I edit data.

Is this possible?

Many thanks in advance!

Stefan

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
I can see why you'd want to do that but I am pretty sure that functionalilty isn't available in Excel. It's either off, or it's on for all cells.

Sorry, I'm sure that's not the answer you wanted!
