I have the following in a cell - I want to click on the link to have it open the excel document. When I click on the Hyperlink, excel does nothing.

=Hyperlink("G:\PMO_Status_NEW\Business_Solutions.xlsm",'[Business_Solutions.xlsm]Client'!$B$8)

Any help would be great.

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
The comma in the formula separates the link address from the text that will be displayed in the cell.

Try this:
Code:
=HYPERLINK("[[COLOR=#333333][COLOR=#333333][COLOR=#333333]G:\PMO_Status_NEW\[/COLOR][/COLOR][/COLOR][COLOR=#333333][COLOR=#333333]Business_Solutions.xlsm[/COLOR][/COLOR]]Client!$B$8", "Click here!")
