Hyperlink opens new instance of Excel

Hello!

I have an excel file (2010) with a list of hyperlinks that point to txt files.
When I open the hyperlink a new instance of Excel is opened with the txt file.

I would like to txt file to open in the original instance of Excel.

Is this possible? Thanks!

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
