Hi,

just curious , how can I use if condition in the following situation :

A1 = 5
B1 = 5

If A1=B1 then C1 = OK

BUT I do not want to use formula in C1, I want to use formula in any other cell and want result in C1.

How can I do ?

Please guide .

Thanks

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
what do you want to put in C1 - leave blank
if so then you need a VBA formula , which I cannot help with

could you have in C1
=cell
to point to another cell where you have the formula
