If statement

Hi,

I am using the If and then statement. =IF((D6+D7-C8)>=C8,0,(D6+D7-C8)). But when the amounts are less than C8 it should be giving me a zero but it gives me a negative #. When I flip the greater, less than sign it gives me the Zero, but then it doesn't calculate correctly if my D6 and D7 are higher. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to have to keep flipping the sign each pay. Thanks!

Try this instead:

=MAX(0,D6+D7-C8)
