Can someone offer me some guidance on how to use the { } brackets to search for three items on a list that match another chart on the same page.

Index and match only pull the first entry, and then they stop. This method should allow me to find the 2nd entry, and then the third entry, its also going to blank out the cells in the line it is pulling information from.

Basically, if I select the option from chart A, and put it into chart B, I want chart A to recognize this data is blanked out of chart A. That is where the { } comes in.

Thanks for the help.

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
hello

I think what you want isn't clear. Please try again. A sample (that can be copied to Excel) would help. Additionally an image of the charts if it helps.

As you may know, and maybe it is helpful maybe not, a common way to NOT show data in a chart is to set the value to #N/A. Such as with an IF formula.
=IF(if you want the data, formula for the data, NA())
