I have a table that has two columns of ranges I would like to INDEX and MATCH.

EXAMPLE: I need to index and match 48.95% (in cell I4) using the table where Column O is 45% and column P is 50% with the probability column at $R$4:$R$43.

How do I INDEX and MATCH a percentage like that to fall between that range so I match it with the probability column R?

Thanks in advance!

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
Here's a couple of options:

=INDEX($R$6:$R$43,MATCH(1,INDEX(($O$6:$O$43<=$I$4)*($P$6:$P$43>=$I$4),0),0))
=LOOKUP(2,1/(($O$4:$O$43<=$I$4)*($P$4:$P$43>=$I$4)),$R$4:$R$43)
