Issue with linked Microsoft Excel tables automatically resized in PowerPoint

Dear all,

The tables that I have created in Microsoft Excel and then pasted as Pasted Link as Microsoft Office Excel Worksheet Object in Powerpoint get automatically resized (width and height increased) as soon as I press Updated Link in Powerpoint.

As I am working with a Powerpoint presentation containing quite a few tables and charts linked to Microsoft Office Excel objects, I can not Update Links for the whole Powerpoint presentation without double-checking the formating of every single table, this is very time-consuming.

Would anyone know how to solve the aforementioned issue and be so kind to share it with me ?

Thank you in advance and Happy Easter.

Michael Lee.

PS: Following suggestions I found online, I have made sure that zoom factor is set at 100% on both PPT and Excel but it doesn't help with my issue.
