Hello. I have a document in excel 2003 that is linked to aproximately 45 other individual files that represent store data. This links have worked previously, but now I am getting a message stating that one or more links could not be updated. I have done the following so far :

1. Deleted my new file and used my back-up file. Received the same message.

2. re-established all of my links

3. broke all of my links and re-established just one store file. That single file then gets teh same error message.

4. Gone through every single one of my range names, and there are no links to outside workbooks.

Are there any known causes that could create this error? The original file names have not been changed.

Thanks
Brandy

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
