Good afternoon all,

I'm having trouble dealing with a sheet I'm doing.

Basically I have 3 shift's per day. What I need is data compilation, were the shifts turn to days.

Ex.
- What I have (Sheet1)
Day 1

A1 - 1.5
A2 - 1.4
A3 - 1.6
Day 2
A4 - 1.5
A5 - 1.5
A6 - 1.6

- What I need (Sheet2)
Day 1
Average (A1,A2,A3)
Day 2
Average (A4,A5,A6)

__

This file is quite big, so, how do i drag it so it jumps three cells for each new cell??

Firstly, thanks for your attention. :)

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Hopefully I understood you correctly...

A1:C6

1.51.5
1.41.533333
1.6
1.5
1.5
1.6

<tbody>
</tbody>

C1, copied down:

=AVERAGE(INDEX($A$1:$A$6,ROWS(C$1:C1)*3-3+1):INDEX($A$1:$A$6,ROWS(C$1:C1)*3))

Adjust the ranges, accordingly.

Hope this helps!

Z column in "Análises" sheet, from Z4 from Z96, summarized to actual sheet, starting at B6.

Z4:Z6 (análises) = B6 (actual sheet)
Z7:Z9 (análises) = B7 (actual sheet)

=AVERAGE(INDEX(Análises!$Z$4:$Z$96;ROWS(B$6:B6)*3-3+1):INDEX((Análises!$Z$4:$Z$96;ROWS(B$6:B6)*3))

What am I doing wrong?? :/ I'm a newbie here!! Thank you for your help ^^

You have an extra opening bracket. It looks like it should be...

=AVERAGE(INDEX(Análises!$Z$4:$Z$96;ROWS(B$6:B6)*3-3+1):INDEX(Análises!$Z$4:$Z$96;ROWS(B$6:B6)*3))

Does this help?
