Lack of features in the MAC version.

I love Excel and and committed to finding work arounds for use on all my Macs, but I wish I could do more database related things join the Mac version. I have the MS Office for Business suite but still cannot get Power Pivot or the data modeling tools that PC users have.

If there are any suggestions other have I would be curious. I have gone deep into Claris FileMaker Pro but eventually hit a brick wall where I felt I was a full time coder.

Excel has always made things easier for me and my business.

While Excel for Mac does not offer Power Pivot, it appears that it does offer Power Query.
So you may want to look into that, which allows a lot of database-type operations.
