Hi members/admin,

Situation:
I am a data analyst delegated the task of assembling a product catalogue.
Information is to be stored in the following columns:

Category - Vendor - Serial number -Text description - Image

The task in theory is simple. Provide a template to the 80 companies we manage and have them populate the cells with the applicable data above.

Note: It will not be feasible to collate on my end, as there will be over 4000 items listed, described and thumb-nailed in the finished product, (these will be be split into about 8 different categories each with around 10 vendors worth data per workbook).

Issue:
The reason for this post is my inability to anchor images into cells.
That's as simple as I can put it. As such, when products are filtered Without this problem the task would be complete.
I have investigated some options - the most successful of which was the ability to set the background of the 'cell comment text box' to the desired product image. However this was incredibly cumbersome and I cannot request our vendors to input the items in this manual manner.

I am trying to avoid using other applications such as MS Access as it is not a shared application in my workplace.

I have observed useful macro's for mass importation and resizing of images, but these are of no use to me if they are not anchored for filtering.

Thanks for taking the time to view this, any suggestions would be appreciated.
- Paul
