Sorry , I have data in a sheet named "Pricing". The column labels are 01/07/10 or 01/08/10 but formatted to Jul-10 and Aug-10.
I want to check the date is the same as another sheet called "value", and because the data is listed in exactly the same way, bring in the row values in that column that matches.
The problem is that the date changes every month, therefore I need to be able to look for the new column data with the change in date.
Can you post a snapshot of your 2 worksheets? Just copy a section of your worksheet and paste it into a reply. You need to select 'Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing' in 'Message Editor Interface' under User CP|Edit Options (menu towards top of screen on Board).
you're right I solved it using the sumproduct formulae. However this has caused an issue with the size of the file, and the size of the formulae, so I was wanting to try and do this with a macro to paste the data in based on parameters I would input to minimise the size.
sorry i do not know how to paste in the data? i did not understand the instructions, this is the first time i have posted a question.
Towards the top of this screen there is a menu bar with User CP, FAQ, Community etc. Click User CP, the click Edit Options. Change the Message Editor Interface and Save. Then you can copy in Excel and Paste into a message.
