Hello all,

I have a forcasting sheet which is based on Row D: having a linear fill of dates incrementing daily, a sort of a linear monthly calendar.
Above each date is a figure which details oil consumption qty

In cell A1: I have the formula =Today()
In Cell A2: I enter a figure based on a daily check of oil consumption

My question is, how can I use lookup or similar method, to lookup the date to match A1: from Row D: and to then reference the 2 numbers in A2 and above the date looked up?
I would like this to show a message something like - Overconsumption, Underconsumption or Ontarget if the numbers match.

Thank you
