I am attempting to move data from an entry sheet to a calendar sheet based on the start date and duration of a given class. It will also need to corospond to the correct room number and Trainer. The titles from sheet1 are below with sample data.

A1
Room | Start Date | Days in Class | Trainer | Req #
178M | 1/1/2011 | 19 | Steve | 12345

My second sheet has a row for every weekday of the current year and a column for the rooms that are available. There are 12 rooms that are designated as room number followed by M or E(morning or evening).

What I am looking to do with no luck thus far is, color fill cell of start date on calendar with blue and paste Trainer&Req # in this cell. Auto fill the corrosponding days of class to the right of start date with blue as well. Will possibly need a border in case classes butt up next to eachother.

I have tinkered with Gnatt Charts, but the do not provide enough room for a full year. I looked into the possibility of using a Pivotchart as well, but it has the same issue. I am using the entire row possible for the year (Excel 2003). Any help would be appreciated.
