I have two formula's available for a cell. Its actual value, and a previously forecasted value. The actual value is found using an index formula and the forecasted value is a forecast function. i want to create a macro and link it to a button such that i can change which formula used in the cell accordingly. Is this possible? Thanks!

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Hi,

Yes this is possible, but I would not recommend that.
On the outside it is not visible which formula is being used.

Did you think about another cell in which you place an indicator what formula should be used?
For the cell you want to have multiple formulas for: create an IF-formula checking the cell mentioned above and place one formula in it's then branch and the other formula in the else branch. This is visible on the sheet and does not require any vba code.

If you still want to do it using a button, think about how the code should know what formula to put into the cell's formula.
You could start recording the formula settings for both formula's and edit the code afterwards.

Succes,

Paul
