Match Criteria in multiple columns

I looked and could not find a similar question. Please let me know if this has been answered before.

Here is the problem. I need to select people who have met set criteria. They can have scored advanced in either column A, B, or C. They must have scored at least proficient in the other two columns. In other words, they can have scored advanced in column A-C but they have to have scored advanced at least once. They cannot score less than proficient in any column.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

You can use Countif instead..

=COUNTIF(A:C,"advanced")>0

That will return TRUE if advanced appears anywhere in columns A B or C.
Otherwise False.
