How to match students marks to skills required from the questions? IE what formula can give me an output of the proper skill for the ones marked incorrect?
where students mark 0=incorrect, 1=correct; question 0=skill required, 1=not a skill required

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
A sample of your data and the expected results will go far in helping to provide a solution. Preferably exactly as you have it setup in your worksheet, or as close as you can manage.
