hi guys and girls
thank you for taking the time to read my post and i do hope someone can help me :)

OK so here goes i have a workbook currently with two worksheets in them, each worksheet has a whole heap of data running from A1 right up to JS1436

the first few columns have things like employee number, first name surname, full name etc..

what i need to do is 'combine' the data in columns A to E onto a summary sheet, the problem is the two lists can change so i need to pull through unique values, but the values have to match so if the employee number in cell A1 is unique it needs to pull that plus the name info in cells B to E.

in effect what i should end up with on the summary sheet is a list of every person mentioned in either months data.

hope this makes sense, I've tried consolidate however that wants to add all the data together not pull unique references through and as the lists are different lengths it really isn't happy, ideally I'd also like the set-up to work so that i can copy and paste data into the first two worksheets regularly and have the summary page update with the new lists if possible?

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
