message box based on cell value

I have a register in excel. In which i need an option that the Column C ( data validation drop down menu) with Value Registered/ not registered,

if i select Registered from drop down,Column E should should ask for entering the registration. It should not be empty.

Can any one help me to resolve this issue.

this should be applicable for entire C column & E column in that entire sheet

Right click the sheet tab and select View Code, then paste this in

Dim Reg As Variant
If Target.Column = 3 And Target.Value = "Register" Then
    Reg = InputBox("Enter Value for column E")
    Cells(Target.Row, 5).Value = Reg
End If
