Hi
I have a macro that is used to delete a player from a worksheet by clicking a button that the macro has been assigned. What I have found users are deleting players using the remove a player button by accident. Is it possible to include a message box that asks for confirmation "Yes" or "No" before deletion is done. if "yes" name is deleted If "no" is selected nothing happens.
Below is the current macro assigned to the button
Cheers

Sub Remove_Player()
'
' Remove_Player Macro
'
'
ActiveSheet.Unprotect
Rows(ActiveCell.Row).Select
Selection.Delete Shift:=xlUp
ActiveSheet.Protect DrawingObjects:=True, Contents:=True, Scenarios:=True
End Sub

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Hi,

Rich (BB code):

If MsgBox("Are you sure?", vbQuestion + vbYesNo) = vbYes Then
    ActiveSheet.Unprotect
    Rows(ActiveCell.Row).Select
    Selection.Delete Shift:=xlUp
    ActiveSheet.Protect DrawingObjects:=True, Contents:=True, Scenarios:=True
End If
End Sub
