Moving rows into columns

Currently, I have a spreadsheet full of companies that is organized into about 69,000 rows, but most of the companies on it are repeated about 4+ times because the same variable is being measured in 7 different categories, and each different category has its own row with the company's name with the same variable being measured.

So, for example, ABC Supply Co takes up four different rows because they have "number of products sold" for four different categories... "red products, blue products, orange products, yellow products"

I have all the data, I just want to move it so each company occupies one row, and has the variable categories (in the example, color) listed across columns.

Any ideas would be great

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
Hi

Whilst perhaps the clue to this is in the title (i.e. Mr Excel) I really think your easiest option would be to Import the Table into Access then create a crosstab query.

You can use the totals option in the query to remove multiple listings for the same company (so long as the name match exactly).

I know this is probably not the answer you were looking for but might be worth investigating.
